Seen through the reflection of a compact mirror, the secretary applies red lipstick as the visual language of the office begins to shift. The typewriter, telephone, and tailored suit give way to ritual, preparation, and a more private version of herself.

Within Dictation, After Hours marks the moment when professional boundaries begin to dissolve. What has been implied through glances and private conversations is moving toward something more intimate—and more dangerous.
