Private Line by LiAns JadAn is the fifth chapter in Dictation, a cinematic photographic story about power, desire, secrecy, and revenge.

Isolated in darkness with a telephone pressed close, the employer is caught in a moment that feels deliberately private. Hard directional light reveals only fragments of his face, hand, and suit, leaving much of the conversation—and his intentions—concealed.

Within Dictation, the image deepens the growing sense of secrecy surrounding him. What once appeared to be an intimate relationship begins to feel less exclusive, suggesting another life operating just beyond the secretary’s view.
